A Collect for the Second Week of Advent – Peace
Blessed Lord, who caused all Holy Scriptures to be written for our learning: Grant us so to hear them, read, mark, learn, and inwardly digest them, that by patience and the comfort of your holy Word we may embrace and ever hold fast the blessed hope of everlasting life, which you have given us in our Savior Jesus Christ; who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever.
Amen.
Explaining the Confessing Anglican Church
We’re a vibrant community rooted in Scripture, Sacrament, and Spirit. Whether you’re exploring faith for the first time or seeking deeper connection, we invite you to discover the beauty of historic Christianity lived with joyful conviction today.

What is
the CAC?
In an age where faith, character and morals are often swayed by societal pressure, we choose to adhere to an expression of the Gospel that is neither diluted nor polluted.

Our Mission
We are not passive recipients of faith – we are active participants in God’s mission.
The Church doesn’t exist to serve us; we are the Church, and we exist to serve the world.

Our Ministry
Ministry means “service.” Every believer in Jesus is given gifts by the Holy Spirit to use to the glory of God and for the benefit of the Body of Christ and the world.
We are not spiritual consumers; we are deliberately determined to be contributors of light in a world filled with darkness.

Our Worship
Worship is a multi-faceted encounter. In worship we’re building, deepening and enjoying our relationship with God.
But worship isn’t just vertical. We’re also building relationships with one another as the Body of Christ – His hands, feet and voice.
